Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh (1914–2003)
Mystery, mysticism, are words rooted in a Greek word which means be silent, or be dumbfounded… it is the kind of thing that is beyond intellectual description, that cannot be simply conveyed from the one to another in itself, but which can be shared in other ways. When you have learnt that God is love, you can convey that by a life of true, unselfish, sacrificial love.
