My experience of teaching for 25 years in an art school has demonstrated how frustrated and lost students feel when they attend an art school which no longer teaches techniques and skills, let alone meaning in art.
True sacred art may help us to know ourselves on a deeper level, to help us understand what it means to be human, and remind us, as Hamlet says, that there is a divinity which shapes our ends.
