Vishnu Sahasranama

A sahasranama is a type of Hindu scripture in which a deity is referred to by 1,000 (sahasra) or more different names (nama). Vishnu Sahasranama is one of the most sacred and commonly chanted stotras in Hinduism. It is found in the Shanti Parva of the Mahabharata and it is the most popular version of the 1000 names of Vishnu.
